Kristie Lauren
Kristie recently began dancing at Moving Arts Dance in the summer of 2008. Prior to this she grew up dancing in the bay area from the age of 3, starting ballet at 7. Kristie trained at Academy of Arts and Ballet, where she was exposed to the versatile world of dance. She was selected to dance with Smuin Ballet dancers on a CD-ROM film entitled “Darkness & Light". She was a member of Arlene Newhouse’s Theater Ballet of San Francisco & Ballet Celeste. She danced in San Francisco’s United Nations Dance Festival as well as The Celebration of Dance Festival, both at Hearst Theater of SF. Kristie holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Fashion Design, and often helps with the costuming at Moving Arts. She is a proud mother of one.
