The MAD, BAD Performance Festival is a celebration of movement as an expressive art form. It takes place annually as part of National Dance Week. With four performances over two week-ends, the festival presents the opportunity for audiences in the East Bay Area to experience a breadth of contemporary dance performance. Performers audition and are adjudicated by members of Moving Arts Dance. Last year, 25 choreographers from 17 cities presented performances at the festival.
Held at the Moving Arts Dance Center and Theater, the festival offers participants the opportunity to network, share artistic visions, and to present their work to new audiences.
