MW 4:00 - 4:50 Intro Creative Modern
Small StudioDeveloping creative thinking in our younger movers, along side a gentle introduction to the basic steps and positions that are common to both ballet and modern dance. This dance provides dancers with opportunities to problem solve, develop self-discipline skills, practice the social benefits of team building, and learn the benefits derived from gracious, courteous behavior.
MW 4:50 – 5:00 BREAK
Vviewing RoomPlease bring a healthy snack to re-energize your dancer’s mind and body before learning new choreography.
MW 5:00 – 5:30 Intro Creative Modern repertory
Small StudioBy permission only, New Moves II will participate in the creation of original dances to perform in MAD student performances. These young students will be offered informal performance opportunities, which will then lead to more formal performances and the mastery of performing without fear. It is critical that students who enroll in the performance training not incur absences as it slows the entire class progression.
