Donate Materials for our Move
From City official taking a personal interest in helping us, to MAD community getting us great donations, everything is moving very quickly along. There is still much to gather, but collectively we're gaining momentum. There are many things in the air, so I won't try to list them all yet. But, it's really FABULOUS! However we still need many items for our new space:
- 2 bathroom vanities, sinks, fixtures
- 2 bathroom light fixtures
- Flooring for most of the studio. We potentially have some tile (-thank you Christine Berger) but have lots of floor to cover with tile, linoleum or carpet.
- Trim for the theater area (230 feet of crown moulding)
- kitchen cabinets, sink, fixtures
- Portable stairs or scaffolding (to reach the ceiling 24' high)
- 1 single French Door (panes/ 3' x 6' 8")
- 1 double French Door (panes/ 5' x 6' 8")
- One sliding glass window (4')
- Overhead light fixtures (for costume room and kitchen)
- 2 rolls of 12/2 and 1 roll of 12/3 wire (Romex)
- 6 ceiling fans
- A small studio sound system (speaker, CD player, Amplifier) compatible with iPod and Computer hook ups. Our current system will be used in the theater. We have a sound engineer donating his services to coordinate the installation of the sound systems, (thank you Dana Wilson!)
- Metal poles, electrified (six 25' overhead poles with plugs for theater lights)
- Metal pole on base, electrified (ten, for side lights to hang on)
- Plain metal poles (for theater curtains: seven, approx. 35 feet wide)
- Electrical sockets and face plates, light switches, etc.
